Watson House Investment Management is an independent wealth management and investment advisory firm owned and operated by Gary Wrotny.
Gary is a registered investment advisor with more than 20 years of experience analyzing, trading, managing, and investing in the stock and bond markets. Watson House was founded to provide thoughtful fiduciary service, active portfolio management, and clear financial education. The firm is committed to helping clients better understand financial markets while keeping the long-term health and success of client portfolios at the center of every investment decision.
Gary is an alumnus of Texas Christian University, where he earned a BBA in Marketing with a minor in History in 2002. He began his career in the wealth management division of a major U.S. broker-dealer before exploring an interest in politics as finance director for the 2006 governor’s race in Oregon. That experience sharpened his interest in data, analysis, history, and current events—disciplines that ultimately led him toward a career in global financial markets and investment management.
In 2007, from a small house on Watson Street in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Gary began testing and refining the investment strategies that would later become the foundation of Watson House. Over the next two decades, his approach was shaped by some of the most challenging and instructive market environments in modern financial history, including the Great Financial Crisis, periods of heightened volatility, inflationary pressure, rising-rate cycles, and rapid market recoveries. These experiences became integral to the development of a disciplined, data-driven investment process designed to manage risk through market downturns while identifying opportunity during periods of growth.
Today, Watson House operates as a boutique investment advisory firm offering customized portfolio management, fiduciary guidance, and financial education for clients seeking a more thoughtful approach to wealth management.
Gary currently holds the Series 65 license and maintains registrations with the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance, the Arkansas Securities Department, and the Texas State Securities Board. Watson House Investment Management uses Interactive Brokers as custodian.
